For Premium+ members: Director Mode is live. Flip the camera icon in the chat bar and the scene follows your lead, what you write is what happens.

Alongside it: a big upgrade to how characters remember. Long relationships now recall moments from far deeper in your shared history, and repeated phrases and tics have been cleaned up so replies stay fresh.

Plus new reading options, a smoother Book Mode, the character appearance builder, and a clear-memory control for any character.

This one is a batch of small fixes that add up to something you can feel. Starting a new conversation now truly starts you fresh, with no traces of an earlier scene drifting into the new one.

Resetting a conversation now asks you to confirm first, so a story you care about never disappears by accident. If you would rather not be asked, there is a don't ask again option.

Long conversations hold together much deeper than before. If you like to write scenes that run for hundreds of messages, the thread should stay coherent well past where it used to fray.

Character portraits now follow the character's actual appearance. Silver hair, green eyes, the scar over one brow: what you wrote is what you should see.

And the whole app should feel smoother during busy hours. Less waiting, more writing.

Some stories want to be read, not typed. Book Mode takes characters you already know and casts them in a story you read chapter by chapter. Pick your cast, set the premise, and settle in while the book unfolds around them.

Writers revise. You can now edit any message in a conversation, yours or the character's, no matter how far back it sits. Fix a typo from an hour ago, or rewrite a line from last week that never sat right with you.

And when a reply misses the mark, reroll it. Ask for another take and the character will play the moment again, a little differently. Your story should read exactly the way you want it to.
