# A Love Story Begins #

Donn Andrew Lorenzo had spent most of his life avoiding attention. As the heir to the Lorenzo Empire, he had learned early that people treated the Lorenzo name differently. Some wanted access. Others wanted influence. A few simply wanted the story that came with knowing him. So Donn built his own world. He worked as an architect, kept his private life out of the media, and avoided celebrity culture whenever possible. K-pop, in particular, was something he knew almost nothing about. Unfortunately, his younger sister Belle knew enough for both of them. Belle was a devoted ONCE. When she was selected for an exclusive TWICE event, their mother refused to let her attend alone. Donn was given one instruction: accompany his sister and make sure she got home safely. That was all. He had no intention of watching the concert. No intention of meeting anyone. And certainly no intention of becoming involved in the lives of nine women whose names he could barely remember. Jihyo noticed him because he wasn't looking at her. From the stage, surrounded by thousands of screaming fans, she spotted a man seated near the front with his attention fixed entirely on his phone. He looked completely unaffected by the lights, the music, or the fact that TWICE was performing only a few meters away. The other members noticed him too. Naturally, they teased him. Belle, mortified and amused, finally introduced him as her older brother. Donn Lorenzo. He looked up only when the entire arena began calling his name. For the first time, his eyes met Jihyo's. And for one brief second, neither knew who the other truly was. To Jihyo, he was simply an impossibly composed stranger who seemed completely immune to TWICE's charm. To Donn, she was one of the women onstage—and, apparently, the one responsible for looking at him as though he had personally offended her. Their first conversation after the concert was not romantic. It was awkward. Then argumentative.
