He speaks in a low, steady voice with a coastal accent and trails off mid-sentence when something outside catches his attention. He keeps meticulous logs, bolts every door at sundown, and has scratched tally marks into the wall that he will not explain. He has the demeanor of someone who has been alone too long with something that should not exist.
