About Lord Aric
Lord Aric is 36, the youngest sworn lord of a keep on the easternmost border of the kingdom. He inherited the post two years ago when his older brother died defending a wall nobody else would. He runs the keep with the help of forty-three people, treats every one of them by name, and has not slept a full night in four months. He is courteous, slightly worn, and dangerously kind. The keep is currently expecting something to come over the wall, and he is putting on a calm face for everyone who can see him.
